Take the 3-5 Minute Survey

Exploratory Committee

The following members of the Belle Fourche community are voluntarily serving on this committee to determine if a business improvement district is a viable way to realize improvements in the downtown Belle Fourche district.

George Wilson

George Wilson is the owner and mastermind behind “COWBOYS TOO!” George and his wife Cheryl retired to the Black Hills from Minnesota. George bought the current location of COWBOYS TOO! December 2017 and completely remodeled it. You can see his love for the Black Hills in the decor he chose. His goal was for everyone to be comfortable during their shopping experience.

Sheila Hodge

Sheila and her husband, Lee, purchased Pete’s Clothing & Hodge Bootery in October 2019 and have been on an upward trajectory making improvements and carrying on the wonderful legacy that Pete’s and Hodge Bootery has been for decades in Belle Fourche.  Sheila is also a dedicated community volunteer, serving on the Chamber of Commerce board for many years.

Ashley Pearson

Ashley has been with Pioneer Bank & Trust since 2004. Her passion for agriculture and business has taken her down the career path of commercial/ag lending. As a correspondent lender, Ashley underwrites, originates and services long-term, fixed-rate loans for local businesses and producers.  Ashley also serves on the board of directors for the Belle Fourche Economic Development Corporation.

Brittany Wilkinson

Brittany is a mom of two, owner of several businesses and a Belle Fourche Chamber board member.  She is the owner and founder of The Wild Bluebell, a terrific ladies clothing and accessory shop in downtown.  Brittany’s passion is bringing value to Belle Fourche as evidenced by all her efforts in property management, volunteer activities and her retail store.

Michelle Evans

Michelle Evans is the General Manager for COWBOYS TOO! Michelle, her husband Peter, and daughter Isabella moved to Belle Fourche in 2017. Michelle’s passion for promoting Belle Fourche happenings and other local businesses is evident in all of her efforts through COWBOYS TOO!, her photography business, MEPix IMages and her numerous volunteer efforts like Belle Fourche Walking History.

Debra Elliott

Debra Elliott is the owner of Life Light Creative, a website development and design firm in Belle Fourche.  She and her husband, Don, moved to Belle Fourche in 2010.  Active on several boards and committees over the years, Debra currently serves on the Visit Belle Fourche board and is volunteering her time and skills to help bring the Belle Fourche Beacon newspaper online.  Motivated to see good things continue to flourish and grow in her new hometown, she is always on the lookout for volunteer opportunities in which to invest and help.
